Dr. McCleavey is a board-certified radiologist and has been with the practice since 1984. He has extensive experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, digital and conventional Angiography, head and body CT, Nuclear Cardiology as well as routine Nuclear Medicine and all interventional procedures. Dr. McCleavey received a MBA/MPH degree from Columbia University in the Joint Program in Health Administration in 1976 and his medical degree from Downstate Medical College in 1980. Dr. McCleavey completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at Nassau County Medical Center in 1984.
Dr. Nussbaum is a board certified radiologist that joined the practice in 1997. Prior to this she worked in private practices for 10 years. Dr. Nussbaum received her medical degree from New York Medical College, completed her internship at Overlook Hospital in New Jersey, and her residency at Montefiore Medical Center.
Dr. Gelber is the co-medical director of Long Island Radiology Associates at Hewlett. He is a board-certified radiologist and has been in practice since 1986. Dr. Gelber received his medical degree from State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center in 1979. After two years of medical residency he entered the diagnostic radiology residency at Downstate Medical Center, which he completed in 1985. Dr. Gelber also completed a fellowship in Interventional Radiology, Angiography, and Computerized Tomography at Downstate, and a visiting fellowship in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
Dr. Diament is a board certified radiologist that joined the practice in 2006. He earned his medical degree at SUNY Downstate in 2001, completed his internship and radiology residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in 2006. Among other various aspects of radiology, Dr. Diament specializes in body imaging.
Dr. Schwartz is a board certified radiologist and has been with the practice since 2002. Prior to this he was Director of Radiology for Flushing Hospital Medical Center for the last 5 years of his 10-year tenure there, and Assistant Professor of Radiology for SUNY Downstate Medical Center for 3 years. Dr. Schwartz earned his medical degree at New York University School of Medicine in 1979, completed his internship in 1980 and his residency in 1983 at Downstate Kings County Medical Center.
